Fact-Checking Kamala’s Border Crisis Claims

What she really means when she says…

During Kamala’s interview on Wednesday with Bret Bair, she made several outrageous attempts to shift the blame on the humanitarian crisis caused by her administration’s border policies back onto President Trump or, at the very least, Congress.

Below are three things you should know about the Democrat’s plan regarding illegal immigration:

1. The proposed legislation Kamala says they started working on “Day 1” in 2021 was NOT about stopping illegal immigration.

Instead, H.R. 1177 was about granting amnesty, i.e., the government granting a pardon to a large group of individuals. This bill proposed to:

• Replace the legal term “alien” with “noncitizen” in immigration statutes

• Give “permanent resident status” to certain classes of individuals, including:

  • All those who entered the U.S. as minors

  • Those applying for permanent residency (yes, you read that correctly)

  • Those who were deported on or after January 1, 2017 (during the Trump Administration)

  • Illegal workers who have been in the country for five years or more

Also, this bill required our State Department to establish refugee processing centers in Central America (say what?) and establish grant programs (i.e., with taxpayer dollars) to provide training and services to illegal migrants.

2. The Biden-Harris Administration rescinded 94 executive orders (EOs) by the Trump Administration, which effectively sealed the southern border.

Here is just one: Executive Order 13767—Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Improvements. This EO, signed by President Trump on January 25, 2017, called for:

• Securing the southern border through building of a border wall

• Apprehend migrants illegally crossing our border

• Detain illegals awaiting trial (i.e., don’t release them back into the country)

• Promptly remove those individuals whose claims were rejected

• Cooperate fully with state law enforcement

3. The Border Security Bill, S. 4361, which both Kamala Harris and Tim Walz blamed Congress for not passing, was deeply flawed.

The Democrats knew it would never pass but wanted a way to shift blame to the other side. During the Vice Presidential debate, Walz even quoted Matthew 25:40 about helping the “least of these” to shame the Republicans who blocked this.

But here’s why it didn’t pass: The proposed bill would have…

• Allowed 1,800,00 illegal aliens per year to enter the country

• Provided $2.3 Billion in funding for sanctuary cities

• Further funded the NGOs responsible for trafficking over 350,000 migrant children

• Legalized “catch and release,” allowing migrants to stay in the U.S. while awaiting a trial

• Provided taxpayer-funded lawyers to illegal migrants

• Granted work permits for illegal migrants

• Said nothing about deporting illegal aliens

• Contained no immediate funding for the wall

• Contained $10 Billion for “humanitarian assistance in Gaza” (i.e., funding for Hamas)

• Contained $60 Billion for Ukraine

When Democrats name a bill, they announce they plan to do the polar opposite of what they said. A great example is the “Inflation Reduction Act,” which unleashed the most significant escalation in inflation in the modern era.

The Border Security Bill was never intended, even in one’s wildest dreams, to secure the border.

In Summary

Essentially, Kamala’s entire plan to fix the migrant problem is to make illegals… legal. That’s right. She doesn’t plan on ever closing the border or stopping illegal immigration. But if she can magically make undocumented migrants documented, then she’s solved the problem in her mind because the problem is YOU (and me).

Americans could no longer complain about migrant crime or illegals taking our homes or jobs because they would officially be American citizens, too. We are the problem she is seeking to resolve.

The good news is that the Fox interview yesterday served to further expose the Democrats’ plan to replace the American people with illegals under the guise of fixing the border crisis.

It’s official: the Emperor has no clothes.
