October has been full of surprises already—and it’s only the second day!
Just yesterday, a significant event unfolded that could have implications for the next few months, if not years.
On Tuesday, a massive strike affecting the nation’s East and Gulf Coast ports began, affecting nearly 50,000 workers. According to CNN, “Choking off the flow of many of America’s imports and exports in what could become the country’s most disruptive work stoppage in decades.”
This strike is expected to disrupt the supply chain across the United States. This means that in a matter of weeks, we could begin to see empty shelves in grocery stores. We could also see lines at gas stations for the first time in decades.
In addition to the strike, we know,
parts of North Carolina are still underwater, and over 170 people are being reported as dead or missing,
there was a mass shooting in Tel Aviv, Israel this week, and
Iran just launched a missile attack on our primary ally in the Middle East, Israel.
It’s not surprising that an unprecedented level of chaos is being unleashed in the final month before the presidential election in America is to take place.
My purpose is not to scare you but to encourage you to prepare for what may be coming our way in the upcoming days.
Ways to Prepare
In light of the strike, below are a few simple actions you can take to be ready in case we do see disruptions to the supply chain:
Have plenty of bottled water on hand.
Stock up on…
can goods and dried food,
batteries,
toilet paper,
diapers or other essentials,
and any medications you may need for the next 30 days.
Fuel up all vehicles and keep them over half-full at all times, when possible.
Keep a first-aid kit stocked with basic supplies.
Be sure to have plenty of cash on hand.
You may also want to purchase some indulgence items you enjoy, such as coffee, tea, and chocolate.
Heading towards War?
Also yesterday, Iran launched over 200 ballistic missiles into Israel in response to the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) assassinating the leader of Hezbollah. This attack is significant because it’s the first time in recent history that the nation of Iran has engaged Israel directly.
Don’t be surprised to hear of missile and/or cyber-attacks unleashed by Iran, allegedly, in the upcoming days as a way of drawing us into the conflict. This is why it’s recommended that you keep cash on hand in case banks are offline and we can’t use a debit card for essential purchases.
In Closing
Be aware that not everything we see in the next few months will be real. As you are probably already aware, the corporate media manipulates us to cause fear in an attempt to control the outcome. For example, in 2020, when the media reported that you could become sick from the Coronavirus if you went to church or the gym, many avoided those places but continued to shop at Walmart.
My best advice in a nutshell? Pray. Vote. Prepare.
Amen!
