NEW! The Trump Revolution Week #4 Highlights
Explore actions taken this week to release more Americans, fight lawfare, reduce the size of our government, and more.
Below are some highlights from the second full week of February:
1. It’s Official! Last Sunday was named “Gulf of America” day.
President Trump signed the executive order while flying over the Gulf of America to New Orleans to participate in Superbowl LIX. Google Maps has officially renamed the body of water on their navigation site.
2. More American Prisoners Released
This past Tuesday, American Marc Fogel was released from a Russian prison after three and a half years. Fogel’s 95-year-old mother begged President Trump to help secure the release of her son back when she attended the Bulter rally in July. She spoke with Trump just minutes before he took the stage.
Another three prisoners were released just days ago from Belarus, a small country bordering Russia, Ukraine, and Poland. The prisoners included an American and a jailed Russian reporter. The identity and alleged charges of the American are being withheld by the White House at the hostage’s request.
So far, 11 Americans have been set free.
3. Biden’s Head of the Government Ethics Department Removed
President Trump fired David Huitema, a Biden nominee. He was confirmed last November by the Senate to a five-year term and officially started the job in December.
Why did the Biden administration place this individual in the position responsible for investigating ethical issues after they lost the election? The new administration has been removing any individuals involved in the outrageous lawfare witnessed over the last four years.
4. 25% Tariffs Restored on Steel Products
Although a 25% tax for steel and aluminum is currently on the books, the countries of Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, the European Union, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom have received exemptions, which prevented the tariffs from being effective.
Actions were also taken by the administration to reach reciprocal trade deals with our allies. To give an example of unequal trade, the U.S. places a 5% tariff on agricultural goods imported from India, but India charges us 39%. India also charges a 100% tariff on U.S. motorcycles, while we only charge a 2.4% tariff on Indian motorcycles.
5. Four FEMA Employees Fired
Employees were let go after a $59 Million payment was discovered to have been sent LAST WEEK to house illegal migrants in luxury hotels in New York City.
DHS fired FEMA’s Chief Financial Officer, two program analysts, and a grant specialist because the payment was in direct defiance of the new administration’s explicit directive to prioritize Americans affected by Hurricane Helene and the fires in LA.
Only days later, Secretary Noem announced that the DHS had successfully recovered $80 million from New York City for illegals, including the $59 million referenced above. Mayor Eric Adams is seeking to have the money returned to New York.
6. Restrictions on Plastic Straws, Light Bulbs, and Showerheads Nixed
The EPA rolled back excessive regulations implemented during the last administration, which restricted water flow to appliances such as dishwashers, toilets, and sinks, and applied “common sense standards” to the use of plastic straws.
7. Trump’s “Buy-out” Program for Federal Workers Restored and Firings has Begun
After labor unions sued to stop the Deferred Retirement program offering full pay and benefits for the next eight months to eligible federal workers, a judge ruled in the Administration’s favor and has allowed the program to resume. Over 77,000 have taken the offer.
Days after the enrollment ended for the buy-out, the D.O.G.E. team laid off 22,000 probationary federal employees with less than a year of employment. This number includes 1,300 at the CDC, 2,300 at the Department of the Interior, 800 Bureau of Land Management employees, 720 from the Small Business Association, and about 1,000 National Park Service workers.
Elon Musk is promising to delete entire agencies. More news to come.
8. Federal Funding to be Stripped from Schools that Mandate COVID Vaccines
According to the White House Press website:
“The Order bars federal funds from being used to support or subsidize an educational service agency, state education agency, local education agency, elementary school, secondary school, or institution of higher education that requires students to have received a COVID-19 vaccination to attend in-person education programs.”
Some news outlets are insisting that this move is largely symbolic since no states currently mandate the vaccine.
9. The Department of Justice Files Lawsuit against New York Officials
Attorney General Pam Bondi filed a lawsuit against the state of New York, specifically naming Governor Kathy Hochul and State Attorney General Letitia James over immigration enforcement.
The complaint alleges that New York law directs the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to NOTIFY undocumented, illegal migrants when federal agents inquire about their immigration status.
"We are taking steps to protect Americans," Bondi said, adding that "New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens."
"We sued Illinois, and New York didn't listen, so now, you're next," Bondi said.
The points above are merely a snapshot and do not capture everything the Trump Administration has done just this week to promote peace, safety, order, and economic prosperity for the United States and its allies around the world.
Let’s goooo!

While Trump's keeping the political stage as busy as a tax auditor in April, the Democrats are probably wishing they could deduct all the stress from their returns.
