Great summary Amy and you are right - the so- called two state solution is impossible and every time Israel has reached out - the other side has bitten off its hand. It is remarkable that everyone ignores the core mission of Hamas - nothing less than to wipe Israel out - just as Iran vows. Somehow - this is seen as hyperbole whereas it is a clear intent. There is no doubt that if Israel had been defeated in 1967 and 1973 there would be no groups clamouring for it to receive back land. It is terrible to think that the West has been funding Hamas to now only create weapons of terror and terrorits but also to indoctrinate children through funds for education to hate Jews. I understand the need to destroy Hamas but I am very concerned because this is great that loves death and there will be no compunction about killing its citizens so that Israel is made to look like a pariah. In fact the extent of the horror could have designed to produce this very effect. The lack of responsiveness by the IDF in the first 8 hours looks extremely suspicious and undoubtedly there are a range of nefarious things happening in the background. It does look as though there are attempts to draw the West into direct conflict. You are right - we need to keep on praying for peace for Israel.

I agree. The fact that the IDF didn’t intercept ANYTHING is highly suspicious.
